Submission & Publication Rights Policy

Effective Date: July 9, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to all poems, manuscripts, literary works, and other creative material submitted to Amirali Publishing House (“we,” “our,” or “us”) for consideration, publication, or inclusion in any print or digital publication.

By submitting any work to Amirali Publishing House, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this policy.

2. Ownership of Copyright

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you remain the copyright owner of your original work.

Submission of your work does not transfer copyright ownership to Amirali Publishing House.

3. Licence to Publish

If your work is accepted for publication, you grant Amirali Publishing House a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

• publish your work in print and digital formats;
• reproduce, distribute, display, and promote your work;
• include your work in anthologies, collections, journals, magazines, websites, ebooks, and future editions;
• use excerpts for marketing, publicity, catalogues, social media, and promotional materials;
• archive your work permanently as part of our published catalogue.

This licence continues unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Editorial Rights

You authorise Amirali Publishing House to make reasonable editorial changes, including:

• correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting;
• applying house style;
• making minor editorial amendments that do not materially alter the meaning of the work.

Substantive editorial changes will normally be discussed with you before publication.

5. Author Warranties

By submitting your work, you warrant that:

• you are the sole creator or have full authority to submit the work;
• the work is original;
• the work has not been published elsewhere (this does not include a personal website or social media);
• it does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party;
• it is not defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise in breach of applicable law;
• any quotations or third-party material have been used with the necessary permissions.

You agree to indemnify Amirali Publishing House against any claims, losses, damages, or legal costs arising from a breach of these warranties.

6. Publication Decisions

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Amirali Publishing House has sole discretion to decide whether a submitted work is accepted, edited, published, republished, or withdrawn.

7. No Right to Withdraw After Publication

Once your work has been accepted and published, you acknowledge that:

• publication may involve printing, distribution, marketing, indexing, and archiving;
• published copies may already have been sold or distributed;
• Amirali Publishing House is under no obligation to withdraw, remove, or destroy published editions at your request.

While we may choose to remove a work from future editions or digital publications at our discretion, we are not required to do so.

8. No Future Claims

After publication, you agree not to bring any claim against Amirali Publishing House alleging unauthorised publication, copyright infringement, or misuse of your submitted work, provided that our use is consistent with the licence granted under this policy.

9. Attribution

Where reasonably practicable, published works will be credited to the author’s chosen name or pseudonym.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
